VetAIS is fully writen in Java language and can be use on MacOS\/OS X operating systems. Please see paragraph «Know issues<\/strong>» on the bottom of this article for current status.<\/p>\n

For installation on MacOS\/OX systems please follow steps bellow:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. install Sun Java JDK 1.8 enviroment from vendor link here<\/a> or vendor site<\/li>\n
  2. copy VetAIS folder from another PC client in network or from server<\/li>\n
  3. copy this folder into \/Users\/[username]\/vetais\/<\/em> folder on Mac<\/li>\n
  4. go into\u00a0\/Users\/[username]\/vetais\/lib\/\u00a0<\/em>folder and delete file «swt.jar<\/em>«<\/li>\n
  5. in same folder copy or rename file «swt-mac64.jar<\/em>» to «swt.jar»\u00a0 <\/em>(on older 32bit based Mac computers use as source file swt-mac.jar)<\/li>\n
  6. open Terminal and go to folder\u00a0\/Users\/[username]\/vetais\/<\/em><\/li>\n
  7. try to run command «java -jar vetaisapp.jar» <\/em>file<\/li>\n
  8. you can also make shortcut of file «vetaisapp.jar»<\/em> and copy this shortcut into your Desktop<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Know issues<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. HTML editor of Documents in Registration don\u00b4t work — VetAIS stop working<\/li>\n
    2. in case of problems with starting VetAIS please check filename and big\/small letters in file name, MacOS\/OS X is «case sensitive» filesystem and different size of letters can occured problems, also for files «lib\/VetAIS.jar<\/em>» and «lib\/Soulmael.jar<\/em>«<\/li>\n
    3. in case VetAIS behaving criticaly slow or hang in case of opening Medical module, please try to put your hostname into \/etc\/hosts (source here: https:\/\/stackoverflow.com\/questions\/33289695\/inetaddress-getlocalhost-slow-to-run-30-seconds\/33289897#33289897) example:\n
